- HB&O3 filter for the visual and photography is a filter that can be used for both visual and photographic purposes. It allows high transmittance of three emission lines, OIII500.7nm, OIII 495.9nm, and H-Beta 486.1nm, with a pass rate of over 90%. Therefore, you can obtain good signals, which is very suitable for observing planetary nebulae, supernova remnants, emission nebulae, and diffuse nebulae. Compared with the visual filters on the market with a cut-off of 350-750nm and a cut-off of OD3, our filter exceeds the cut-off design of OD4 (0.001%) (300-1000nm), meeting the spectral requirements of photography cameras. It effectively blocks other stray light and infrared light interference, making the background darker and more effective. Improve the contrast of nebulae to make the target celestial body more "three-dimensional", which can be used in areas of light pollution and darkness, such as M27 Dumbbell Nebula, Veil Nebula, Orion Nebula, etc.
- Due to the decreased sensitivity of the human eye at night, even in sensitive areas such as 500nm, we recommend using a large aperture telescope for observation to ensure sufficient light transmission for good visual results at night.
