Difference between common version and upgraded version:
- When the rubber of the original connecting plate is tightened on the ball connector, there is elastic compression deformation. When the load is relatively large and a reverse torque is formed, the rubber between the ball connector and the rubber is prone to loosen, causing unstable sliding of the ball table. Over time, the rubber is also prone to aging, delamination, and loosening.
- The upgraded version of the newly designed CNC aluminum alloy ball connection plate has a rigid friction lock between the bottom of the ball connector, with a locking force several times that of the old model. For ball connector with a bottom diameter greater than 47mm, it can achieve a fastening degree that cannot be disassembled by hand with the use of top screws, providing stable support for tracking and shooting.

Precision Description:
- The tracking time of the equatorial instrument is related to many factors. Under the condition of aligning the polar axis and ensuring the rigidity and balance of the system, for iOptron small star field has a wide angle within 24mm, tracking for more than 10 minutes, tracking for 6-4 minutes from 24mm to 85mm at the medium focal length, and tracking for 1-3 minutes at the long focal length. - The rigidity and stability of the equatorial instrument and camera connectors: Before shooting, check whether the tripod is placed firmly, do not place it on wooden walkways or soft mud, and check whether each connecting part is locked.
- The load weight of the equatorial instrument (camera/lens/gimbal, etc.): When carrying heavy loads, it is best to use a balance kit to balance them and minimize the installation of unnecessary accessories.
- Balance of load on equatorial instrument: It is recommended to use an equatorial instrument to capture images for a period of time, and then adjust the table or equatorial instrument to return the camera to a horizontal position, so that the center of gravity of the load passes through the axis of the equatorial instrument as much as possible to reduce the lateral moment generated by the load.
