HCG Mode:
- The ASI462MC has a built-in HCG mode, which can effectively reduce the readout noise at high gain and maintain the same high dynamic range at low gain. When the gain value is 80, the readout noise drops precipitously to 0.47e, the dynamic range could up to 12stops.

QE Curve:
- The ASI462MC has excellent QE performance. The QE value in the 800-1000nm wavelength is almost twice that of the ASI290MC, and the camera sensitivity has also been greatly improved.
- Among all the ASI planetary cameras, the ASI462MC has the highest infrared sensitivity.
